Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) provides project-based funding for organizations. Funded activities enable Americans throughout the nation to experience the arts, foster and celebrate America’s artistic heritage and cultural legacy, and benefit from arts education at all stages of life.
Art and health programs are also supported, including creative arts therapies, that advance the well-being of people and communities. 

Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem (GPD) VA GPD Transition in Place

The purpose of this program is to provide an innovative transitional housing model under which applicants identify or convert existing suitable, apartment-style housing where Veteran participants receive intensive, time-limited, supportive services optimally for a period of 6-12 months. The Veteran will receive supportive services until the veteran is able to assume the lease. The Veteran transitions in place by assuming the lease or other long-term agreement, which enables the unit in which he or she resides to be considered the Veteran’s permanent housing.
 
Watershed Planning Program
Florida Department of Emergency Management

The purpose of the Watershed Planning Program is to create standardized, cost-effective, and easily replicable Watershed Master Plans (WMP) or Stormwater Master Plans (SWMP) throughout the state of Florida.
Communities will be provided funding to complete a Watershed Master Plan or a Stormwater Master Plan, in accordance with FEMA’s standard practices for mitigation planning for CRS purposes.

Florida Forever FY2026

Florida Department of Environmental Protection

The purpose of this program is to conserve Florida’s natural and cultural heritage through the acquisition of conservation and recreation lands. This program supports a wide range of goals, including water resource protection, resiliency, preservation of cultural resources, public access to outdoor recreation, and the restoration and maintenance of public lands.
Projects placed on the Florida Forever Priority List must meet the following goals:
  • Enhance the coordination and completion of land acquisition projects
  • Increase the protection of Florida’s biodiversity at the species, natural community, and landscape levels
  • Protect, restore, and maintain the quality of natural functions of land, water, and wetland systems of the state
  • Ensure that sufficient quantities of water are available to meet the current and future needs of natural systems and the citizens of the state
  • Increase natural resource-based public recreation or educational opportunities
  • Preserve significant historical or archaeological sites
  • Increase the amount of forestland available
  • Increase the amount of open space available in urban areas
  • Mitigate the effects of natural disasters and floods in developed areas

Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A)

Funding: Approximately $1 billion total funding available
 
The SS4A Grant Program provides grants to communities for implementation, planning, and demonstration activities as part of a systematic approach to prevent deaths and serious injuries on the nation’s roadways.

The SS4A Grant Program provides two types of grants:

  • Planning and Demonstration Grants for Comprehensive Safety Action Plans, including supplemental safety planning and demonstration activities to inform an Action Plan.
  • Implementation Grants to implement strategies for projects identified in an existing qualified Action Plan
